International Golf for Youth Limited is a company limited by guarantee and all profits are donated by gift aid to The International Golf Charity.

The International Golf Charity which is also a company limited by guarantee is a legally constituted charity acting under the jurisdiction of the UK Charity Commissioners.
Registered No 1085994.

The charity’s objectives and operation have been approved by HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, and HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.

The Duke of Edinburgh Cup Tournament structure is operated by International Golf for Youth Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of The International Golf Charity, as required by the Charity Commissioners and by the Inland Revenue.

The charity is operated under UK charitable law, subject to the strict jurisdiction of the UK Charity Commissioners, is registered with them as a limited charity and properly constituted as such with the Registered Number 1085994.

Registration and formation of the operating company and the charity was undertaken by the law firm of Gouldens, 10 Old Bailey, London EC4M 7NG who acted for a number of charities including The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award International Foundation.

All of the monies donated through the Charity will be distributed under the guidance of the International Trustees.

The Auditors are Keith Vaudrey & Co. 15, Young Street, London W8 5EH England. Their offices are also the registered address of The International Golf Charity.

The day to day administration of the charity and World Finals for the Duke of Edinburgh Cup are undertaken pro bono by international trustees. Working groups are formed by the Chairman when needed. All accounts and actions are reported to the full board of international trustees.

There are no full time employees of the Charity, but necessary assistance is contracted on a consultancy or fee basis to keep costs to a minimum.

None of the Trustees receive any remuneration and all act on a pro bono basis.
